Dr Don Brash

Dr Brash has extensive experience in economic policy, including serving as Governor of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand between 1988 and 2002, as an economist at the World Bank in Washington, and as finance spokesperson and later leader of the National Party.  Dr Brash has also gained significant private sector experience throughout his career, as Chief Executive of Broadbank Corporation in the 70s and Managing Director of the New Zealand Kiwifruit Authority and Trust Bank in the 80s.  As well as holding the position of Chair of the 2025 Taskforce, Dr Brash is currently a Director of ANZ National Bank, Transpower New Zealand, Oceania Dairy and Chairman of Huljich Wealth Management. 

Dr Brash holds a PhD in economics from the Australia National University and a Master of Arts in economics from the University of Canterbury. 

David Caygill

David Caygill was a Member of Parliament between 1978 and 1996, during which time he held a number of Ministerial portfolios, including that of Minister of Finance.  He is a former Partner at Buddle Findlay, former Chair of ACC and former Deputy Chair of the Commerce Commission.  He is the current Chair of the Electricity Commission, Chair of the forthcoming ACC Review and member of the current Regulatory Responsibility Taskforce.

Mr Caygill has a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws with Honours from the University of Canterbury.

Jeremy Moon

Jeremy Moon is a former Project Manager at CM Research.  He is the Founder and Chief Executive of Icebreaker, one of New Zealand's most successful and fastest growing companies.  He is Chair of Better By Design, a unit within New Zealand Trade and Enterprise and has been appointed as a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit (Queen's service medal) for services to business.

Mr Moon has a Master of Commerce with Honours in marketing from the University of Otago.

Judith Sloan

Judith Sloan is a current Commissioner at the Australian Productivity Commission and a Commissioner at the Australian Fair Pay Commission.  She has held numerous commercial directorships, including Chair of Primelife Limited, and is a current director of Westlife Group Limited.  Previously, she has been Director of the National Institute of Labour Studies and Professor of Labour Studies at The Flinders University of South Australia.

Ms Sloan has a Master of Arts with First Class Honours in economics from the University of Melbourne and a Master of Science in economics from the London School of Economics. 

Dr Bryce Wilkinson

Dr Wilkinson has twelve years experience in public policy analysis with the Treasury and twelve years experience with an investment bank.  He is a past President of the Law and Economic Association of New Zealand and is currently the Director of Capital Economics in Wellington.

Dr Wilkinson has a PhD in economics from the University of Canterbury.
